Thursday!! blog for march 20th

Tomorrow is Friday and it is senior skip day. Everyone is goiong to Rapid City to Flags and Wheels. I think everyone will be having fun I hope!!!

I am going to BHSU tomorrow to contact the admissions office about classes and fasfa. I am excited to see what classes I will be taking!!

Prom went well and lots of great prizes were given out. I won a laptop and it will be awesome for school. There was also a hypnotist who hypnotized juniors and seniors. It was a pretty great show that made everyone laugh. It was the great night and the last!!

Easter is coming up this weekend and I won't be able to eat with family because I got scheduled to work since I am the highschooler, which sucks. I am excited for the extra day off though.

Prom.

Prom is on March 31st and I believe many of the kids from the school is participating. Couples are different this year. Age has ranged widely. I am a senior and I am going with a junior, which isn't bad. Grand march starts at 7:00 p.m. this year and I think the dance will only last till 11:00 p.m. I will be attending post prom because it is the best part about prom. I love the prizes and games.

I am excited for this weekend because of prom. I get the weekend off of work so it will not be a hassle. I hope every senior joins at post prom.

Feb. 12!!!!

This week I was gone from school because I was sick so this is my blog from that week. I have a bad cold and it took awhile to get over it and I couldn't blog because I don't have internet at home.

To get over my cold, I took lots of vitamins and drank EmergenC, and took immuplex. Unfortunately this kept me from attending school which wasn't fun but now I am back.

The weather this weekend was unbelievable. It is a great way to start off spring. Soon enough summer will arrive before we know it.

This weekend I was outside every day. I even put on shorts because it was so nice. I went frolfin and it was beautiful. There was no wind and it was awesome.

Thursday

Today is Thursday the last day of the week and it is my birthday!! I am going oto be doing lots of things with family tonight.

Along with that- countdown for graduation has started. It is on the board in Mrs. Krajewski's room. I cannot wait until we are done!

School

Lately in school I've been pretty busy with art and tests. In art I am working on pop art. I am making a hand and it is difficult. You have to make the whole thing by scratch.

Government has been keeping me busy with studying and tests. The last test we took was over the House and Senate. It was a pretty hard one but I'm sure I passed.

Eh.

Today is Tuesday, the first day of school for this week and it is going to be a long week. We had Monday off for a holiday, which I spent working.  There hasn't been too much going on other than I have a government test this week that I have been studying for.

I have also been filling out graduation invitations and making announcements. I had started and changed my mind on designs. Another thing thst I have in store is decorating the senior shirt. I hope.

Just Life-

Lately I haven't been doing much, I am waiting for a few letters of reccommendation to get back to me so I can send in some scholarships. I have been busy with work and school also. Senior year is kicking my butt so far, but only because I am ready to be done. This is putting me in a bad position because I am not wanting to study very hard. And I am also debating on what I am wanting to go to school for.

I have been thinking lately that I want to go to school for something other than a teacher. I know I have a long time to decide, but im always changing my mind. I am thinking about going to school for something in the medical field with babies. That involves a lot of school and science, which I am not strong in the science department. Oh well, i'll decide one day.

Scholarships-

      The main scholarships that I have been working on are offered for teaching programs. The one I am doing now is just for ayone who is going into the teaching department. I think that these are given out because teachers are needed always. I do have to write an essat for one of them I believe and the other is where you just have to have letters of reccommendation.

      I plan on going to BH and getting a degree in English and moving away somewhere where teachers actually make money. I will not stay in SD because it is the lowest paying state.

This will be considered my second paragraph for the post scholarships.

I am attending BHSU and I am looking forward to it. There are deadlines for scholarships at BH and after the deadline you are not able to turn anything in, this is why it had been taking up all of my time!!!

Scholarships

This weekend I spent hours and hours filling out applications for college. This takes up large amounts of my time, other than work. I work a lot. Most of my scholarships need lots of essays. This is why it is incredibly hard to get my school work finished and maintin extra downtime. Yes, my life is boring and you might think that im telling a lie, but im not. It does take up a lot of your time, and like I mentioned, I have a job also.

So far I can't wait until graduation. That's all I can think about. I am ready to graduate and start college. This weekend I started making lists for invitations and picking out pictures for the yearbook. I'm excited to leave the high school and it's just not coming soon enough!! :)

As I mentioned, I will be posting about a lot of things that are going on in my life. This last weekend I traveled to Montana to go snowboarding. We stayed just a few miles away from Red Lodge, which is where I went boarding. It was a blast and I can't wait to travel to the next place.
